I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.

I worked for years in post production in the feature and documentary worlds before directing my first film, SALIM BABA,in collaboration with Francisco Bello, which was nominated for both an Emmy and an Oscar and played at over 200 festivals around the world before being broadcast on HBO and Canal +.

The visual element of film making - how DP's create expressive, emotional images - has always fascinated me, especially in documentaries - and a few years ago I turned to still photography to satisfy this interest. In my photography I'm always looking for spontaneity and emotion in the everyday.
